Happy Holidays / Plans for 2021

 Greetings, fellow reader, and a very Happy Holiday to you! As we all know, this year has been incredibly rocky, not only in my life, but in yours as well, and we should definitely understand that some circumstances happen that are out of our hands, and we must make the best of things.

So I won't go into detail on why I've been gone for so long, but I would like to share some of my goals for 2021. I tend to not do resolutions since it's hard to start one for the New Year. These are the list of my goals that I have for this year:

- Get comfortable with HTML/CSS/SCSS again (Done)

- Revisit JavaScript and React

- Work on JavaScript projects

- Learn new technologies and read more blogs that bring value

Unfortunately, I have a gigantic list of goals that I want to accomplish, but if I wrote them, I would be here for another month writing them down! But in any case, keep up with your goals, and have a safe and Happy New Year!

Where have I been?

Hello there, fellow reader! It has indeed been an incredibly long time since my last blog post! 8 months to be exact! I sincerely apologize for the long hiatus, but I do have quite a bit of explaining to do when it comes to my absense.

So in the beginning of this year, I was starting to get on a roll, and start working on a project while I started learning PHP, because PHP and Wordpress are actually still relevant to this day. There have been some ups and downs of learning PHP, however, I will get back to that in another blog. There have been days where I haven't written a line of code because either I wasn't feeling good or I wasn't up to it.

Let's skip to March of this year. A state of emergency was issued for COVID-19, and I thought to myself, "OK, that should hopefully not affect my studies, etc." I was wrong.... Absolutely dead wrong. I have wound up working insane hours, trying my hardest to follow mandated regulations, etc. Unfortunately, it has taken a big toll on me and things have kind of spiraled down hill. I am not looking to give a rant or complain about the biggest problems of what has been going on my life at all, but I felt like I let myself down for a long time.

Fortunately, this past month, I have forced myself to start coding again, and I could not be happier. I am actually working on a side project that I may or may not launch in the near future. I am just focused on getting back on track and I would like to start working on posting blogs on here again. I hope I can commit to this once more very soon.
